Get a better view of the WHY behind Worshipjunkie
My Vision has always been to touch people through my music, or through whatever art medium I was attempting. I never wanted to be one of those "affected people" ...the ones who just seem to dig the scene and enjoy calling themselves artists. I always felt called to do this art thing; it was never a hobby but a fervent fire of a calling. Writing music was a release of passion for lack of better words.
I never wanted to be just one of those chicks with a guitar that toured, or sang in bars and open mic nights because I had the talent to do it, but because everything in my being told me I had to do it. There has to be something to say, a battle to fight, a person that is hurting somewhere that needs to hear my songs, or experience your art.
Now ask yourself why do you do what you do? Is it because you're a talented painter, or speaker, or songwriter, or is it because there is a fight in you that is bleeding out your pen, or your voice. Don't be an artist, don't call yourself an artist, let your gift speak it out for you. Make your art mean something....
Join the movement....if you're in a rat race chasing fame and glory then i'm not talking to you. Fame is fleeting and success can only taste sweet when its roots are burried in substance. Does your art have substance? I pray mine does.
If it doesn't then why do it? Everyone wants to be famous, but not everyone wants to touch lives.
I just want to be the minority on this one....I want to help young artists find the loop holes, rock the sick website and find the right studios for their budget! I want to help my generation take art back!
That is the vision for worshipjunkie. It's simple I think....
